Grid / Wall customizations / overrides for using custom fields Resolved

1

Hi

Is it possible to override the grid / wall extensions for using values from Joomla native custom fields?

We have to realize an event wall, for which your wall (pro) would just be perfect. the problem is, we cannot use one of the Joomla native date fields (nor creation, nor modification nor publication) for the event date. So we created a custom (date) field, where the customer can enter the event date.

Now we should tweak the wall extension, so it will display this event field instead of any native joomla date fields.

Is this generally possible? What would be the cost for the customization? (I'm sure it is a smart investment, including joomla custom fields in any component)

thank you

Hi there,

I can look into this today, but please open a ticket here (so that I can keep better track of the issue),

Hi,

thanks for your answer.  This is great, just as your components!

We just bought the pro subscription (which is not active yet, btw).

How do we proceed now for the override of the filter-enabled custom date field?

thank you

Hi there,

This is possible too with a template override.

It will not cost anything as long as you purchase the Pro subscription.

Hi

Strangely our post ist still "unpublished".

In the meantime we could see in your tickets, that embedding of custom fields is possible, which is great:

Now, it's only about how we get a custom field date file as the "sortable date" in the wall (see our post above)? Can you do this for you, what would it cost?

please let us know, so we can buy the subscription and start working.

thank you.
