I need a specific link where I can see the problem. The description alone does not help in figuring out what's wrong.
I have 2 sections with topics. I've build menu items for the sections, topics and question forms. The question form menu items work as it should. But the ask a question button has a link which remains unchanged whatever the section. It always links to the first section.
Everything in the menu items setup is correct and has been checked (the section is the right one)
The section configs are identical, as well as the topics configs.
thanks for help
I have the exact same configuration and I can't replicate the issue. Please send me a specific link and access to admin. I can't do anything without seeing the problem.
I'm on my local pc, I don't have a link for the moment. I'm gonna make it live and I'll get back to you.
looking in fb_topnav.php the call to FAQBookProHelperRoute::newQuestionRoute($sectionId)); always returns the same link whatever the id. I don't know if it can help.
Can you send me a screenshot of all the menu items in backend? I need to see the menu items tree.
please find attached a screenshot of the menu items for the faqbookpro. You can also find a screenshot of the frontend where you can see that the url of the onclick event of the ask a question button leeds to the question form of the other section (la radio)
may be I missed something in the configuration but I can't see what !
thanks for help
If you unpublish only the question form menu item for the 1st section, does the question form link work for the other section?
yes it works if the first section menu item is unpublished
This is indeed a router bug. I'm looking into it right now and I'll let you know soon.
In the meantime, you can unpublish both menu items for the questions forms. The forms will work fine without them, they are not essential.
It works fine if I unpublish both items.
Sorry to give you some extra work during the week end !
