Hi Achim,

The module is still there on mobile, but your template is hiding it.

You must enter the module in a module position that is not hidden on mobile.

Hi Mod,

we got it working. However we have another issue. We would like to use it in the mobile version and desktop version.
on mobile it is published in mobile position and for desktop it is published in the header.

Mobile position works, header position NOT.

Yootheme / Joomla 4

What are the options to get it running?

please let us know if you need to login

Thx very much

Hi Achim,

The module does not work because there are currently 2 JavaScript errors in your website:

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
Uncaught SyntaxError: unexpected token: identifier

The first error indicates that jQuery is needed but for some reason it is not loaded. Make sure that jQuery is being loaded in your template settings.

The second error is a syntax error caused by a custom script in your template. You must find the script and either remove it or fix the syntax error.

Hi Mod,

thanks for your answer. I checked the errors and activated jQuery. The Syntax error occurs only for your Plugin. We use the Template Builder Yootheme Pro 2.9 which has a responsive design with different module positions for mobile and for desktop view. So we need to publish one minitek search in desktop header position and if we want to show a search bar in mobile view also, we need to publish another module in mobile-logo position for our template.

The error only occurs if both modules are active on both positions (still the same site but other module positions, because the Template Builder works this way). When we deactivate one of the modules we have no error messages. Is there a way to get this fixed? Because we need the search on both views desktop and mobile.

Thanks,

Achim

I see what you mean. I did not understand previously that you had 2 modules on the same page.

Unfortunately it is not possible to use two instances of the module on the same page. There should be only one Live Search module per page.

You must find a different way to do this by inserting the module in a position that is visible in mobile and desktop views.

Hi,

we changed everything so, that the module is published once. Pls check. But

- the output on desktop is corrupted...

- both mobile and desktop only show the search field after reloading the script or such... not sure what is the reason
the published module is 183

the desktop and mobile modules have the correct position and are loading module 183

Please check and let us know if it can be fixed

thx

Achim
