German data protection law

The point is that you get to know the stupid, but unfortunately binding data protection regulations that we have to deal with here in Germany. It's terrible, but we have to abide by it, whole droves of lawyers are out to get us and want to hit us with expensive fines.

The current problem: overnight a court decided that web fonts of all kinds may only be hosted locally. In no case a foreign server may be called for it any more.

We are therefore urgently dependent on you to support us and tell us where we can turn this off. And that you add a switch in new versions.

This is about the Responsive Grid for Articles - where can we switch off the web fonts?  It's urgent, the lawyers are breathing down our necks!

Thanks for your effort!

This is indeed the strangest regulation I've heard of. Makes zero sense. Maybe they are afraid that North Korea might provide us with deadly fonts! :)

For the responsive grid, you can find it at:

Module > Advanced > Load Font Awesome

Thank you very much.

And you are right.  We Germans are completely crazy.  We are now against everything that is modern. Digitization is a foreign word.

As a web developer, it drives you crazy.

Thanks again! We'll try this out right away. I see a coworker created the same ticket - sorry for that.
