Hello,
we would like to use this module to display up to 100 categories. Since these are arranged alphabetically, this is not a problem. We assume that a vertical bar "filter by category" appears in the drop-down menu. like "filter by tag"
My questions:
1) Are there any restrictions on the display/quantity of categories?
2) Do you have an example with so many category choices ->so we can test it in mobile-view
3) how can I customize the display text “Filter by category” individually for a module instance
thanks for Help
Best regards Michael

Hi Michael

While there is no restriction on the number of categories, this could create some page loading time issues. Unfortunately I don't have an example with so many categories. Also, the text “Filter by category” can be translated only globally (for all categories).

I would suggest that you used Minitek Wall instead. It is capable of handling many categories much more efficiently (by using static filters) and it also allows you to translate the “Filter by category” separately for each widget.

Hi Minitek-Team,

Thank you very much, we will check the use of the "Minitex Wall".

Hello,
I installed the "Minitek Wall" module and it works easier.

How can I define the heights for all elements (see appendix, marked in red) regardless of the image-size?
best regards Michael

Hi Michael,

You can set the items height with the widget parameters Responsive > Cell height. You can also set different heights per screen size.

Hi Minitek-Team,

thanks for the reply.

Subject: dynamic adjustment of the tag-selection:
This only works when the module appear (with all articles of a category). How can I change (restrict) the tag-selection when the user customizes the category?
best regards
Michael

I see what you mean. No, tags are not updated dynamically, unless you load more items in the Wall, or select next/previous page.
