Hi Yannis,

I have an odd issue.. I installed FAQ Book Pro on a new Joomla website.
When using the non SEF link to access the sections I see the following error.

https://demo.moduluswebdesign.com/tipsterstreet/index.php?option=com_faqbookpro&view=sections

I don't know if it matters but I am using SH404SEF whoever it does not create urls for menu entries that are not in menus published on the website. So in this instances I usually create a custom link, or just add the links all over the website using the non sef link (like the above). never had an issue like this, but thought it would be worth mentioning.

Thank you for all the help you can give.

Regards,
Paulo

Hi Paulo,

That's because that link does not have an Itemid, therefore it's not tied to a specific menu item.

If you want to use non-sef urls, you must also add an Itemid (the id of the FAQ Book Pro Sections menu item).

Hi Yannis,

The issue above got fixed but I'm still having issues.
I set SH404Sef to disregard Faq Book (so joomla router took over) but still no luck.

Any idea of what's going on?

Hi Paulo,

Open each Section in the backend and under the tab "Options", in the field "Top navigation root"
select the menu item that corresponds to the Home link (Sections menu item).

You must first create a menu item of type: Minitek FAQ Book > Sections.
Then select this menu item in the above field.
