I been plagued with a conflict I not been able to resolve between sh404SEF and FAQPro for several months now, both modules I have been using for several years both very good however recently (as far as I'm aware) they have stopped playing nice with each other.

My findings are a little complex to describe please forgive me if I'm not clear in any way.

1. sh404SEF, where FAQBook Pro is concerned the sh404SEF part of teh cache seems to gets corrupted randomly but consistently, the rest of the site is fine including 404 pages.
2. To get FAQBook Pro working consistently and what I perceive as correctly I have to set the FAQBook Pro to use the Joomla router, however, when that happens the 404 and page redirect of the sh404SEF stops working.
3. It seems that the FAQBook Pro while should only be active when the FAQ section is accessed is somehow available all through the site so the joomla router takes precedence (I believe)?

So Is this an issue, and even if not what can be done to solve it, I have limited feedback from the sh404SEF people, which in the end really did not help, I understand support can be very taxing I also run an IT company, its been an issues for at least the last few months but would love to get to resolved.

Hey Peter,

Since this is a quite complicated issue, are there any specific steps I can take to replicate the problem on my end?

Hi Yannis, I'm guessing the best way is for me to zip up my site and send it over to you? other than that installing sh404SEF and FAQ Book pro with content and links should suffice, this issue seems to be quite consistent, if somewhat complicated.

I'm happy to help in any way I can, it's been driving me up-the-wall, I am even happy to pay.

I have a version of sh404SEF that is over 1 year old.

Can you send me the one that you are using? (you can send it at info@minitek.gr)
