Dear Support,
I've just added Minitek Wall to a friends website. I started with the free version and then we just bought the pro version. At first, the contents in the widgets were working fine. Image, detail box, hover, et al. I'm trying to hide some of the information in the detail box. All we want is the title and the introtext. Right now there is also the author name, the category, the date.

I've gone into your component, the article set up, the category and menu set up and global and shut of all references to displaying author / manufacturer name, date, category...everything and it still shows in the detail box.

Also (I'm sure I'm breaking rules by including a couple of other mentions here) but I used to be able to change the detail box and hover box colors. I cannot anymore.

Also, I had to add a jlink "READ MORE" into the intro text of each item (and shut off html stripping) in order to create a link to the article. The link icon that is in the hover box never worked. It would redirect to the homepage...not the article. I've shut the icon off and the READ MORE works fine, but we did like the idea of the link icon if it had worked.

As "webmaster" please communicate back using Thank you! Tom

Hi Tom,

1. Are you sure that you are editing the correct widget detail box params?
Since you are using the "Masonry - Columns" layout, you must edit the params:

Widget > Settings > Detail box > Columns/Vertical list tab > ...

2. About the links, have you created menu items for the Joomla Categories?
For example. for the Category "Horses", have you created a menu item for it? The links will not work properly if there are no menu items for the categories.

As far as a menu, are you saying to set up a new menu (and not put it in a menu module because it won't be a viewable menu) for each article "category" that is being called by the widgets? Like:

Article category: Competition Horses
Menu: Horses
Menu item type: Category List
Category: Competition Horses

Like this?
