 Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to keep the state of the LOAD MORE button.

After the visitor load more say like 10 times and then finally clicked to read an article, the state and position of the page is gone when he navigate backward.

Is there anyway for user to keep the state and position of the article listing page so that the visitors do not need to load more again to find his previous position.

I read and believe something like History.PushState() can be implemented to keep the state and position

thanks

Hi there,

The PushState() method is not suitable because it will only save the page url.
The page url does not contain any data about the state of the load more button.

I have another idea about it and I will certainly add this feature in the future.

Hi Yannis,
Is there a timeline for this feature?

Or do u think its is better to have a choice to set to open the articles to load a new page so they do not lose their articles listing position?

There are many other features in queue, so I can't really give a timeline.

You can create a template override and customize the links to open in a new browser tab.
You can find instructions for the template override here:
https://www.minitek.gr/support/documentation/joomla-extensions/components/minitek-wall#template-override

Let me know if you need more help with the override.
