Why is the search box coming up 2x?

Hi there!

I installed your search on my english version, it has about 100 articles and many tags and just two categories. However, the search box seems to come up twice:

https://www.dolcevia.com/en/articles/why-you-should-make-pisa-a-double-stopover-north-to-pietrasanta

If I enter a search term like Pisa it works but the search box is duplicated below. However when I enter a search term like Rome it shows no results but still 2 x the search box.

I also have not really grasped how to show filters for searching. I have many tags I would like users to check and search in articles for just this topic, but this I havnt been able to figure out yet. The same is the case if users want only to search for recipes.

Kind regards,

Elisabeth

Hi Elisabeth,

That seems to be a cache issue. I cleaned the cache and it should work ok now. Let me know if you need more help.

Thanks..and why do you think the search isn't working on mobile devices? I made a carbon copy and stuck it into a mobile only position in my template. Thanks, Elisabeth

I think I understand what may have happened. It does work but as long as I have only 1 search box on my website (I used to have a special position for mobile search box) which meant I needed 2 search boxes. Now I placed Minitek search below the content with an icon in the header which hyperlinks down to the place in the page where it is. it works great now. https://www.dolcevia.com/en/
