Excellent product and working well. There is one thing that I am unclear on.
The client would like emails to send not only the article title but the intro text of the article.
I read that the custom box that you fill in when selecting if to use notifications on an article is NOT for the email but is used for the site notification area. But I did read that the intro text is available and that didn't distinguish if it's available for email as well.
"In the field "Custom update content" you can add a custom description (HTML allowed) that will be displayed in the Updates list in the front-end. If you leave this blank, the item introtext will be used as update content. Please note that this custom content is not the content of the email notification. The content of the email notification is created by the email templates."
So clearly the Custom update content is not available in email but is there a short code or way to get the introtext in to the email?
Hi Yannis,
was there any news on this?
I have another client who would benefit from this so would love to be able to use it.
Appreciate you may have a lot on your plate.
Thanks anyway

That would be super if you could.
Your system surpasses my clients in all respect apart from that one so that would be just amazing if you could.

Hi Phil,
Yes this is correct, the Custom update content or the item introtext is not available as a placeholder in the email templates.
I can add this feature but I can do it next week when I will have some extra free time.
