website distortion using live search in production mode of template

Hi there, I'm using livesearch on my site.
I do have social II template installed from Joomlart and each time I do change from development mode to productive mode the top bar of my website gets distortet.

attached are two images. the one with the thin bar is in dev mode and the oder after switching to productive mode.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Try to add this css in your template:

.head-search {
  float: left;
}
