when i go to create widget for audio or images i get

in_array(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, null given

typically this would mean a version issue     correct?

im using wall 5.03 on J 4.41 and php 8.2.23

sso i downgraded php to 7.4    the component now works,    but all the other items that need 8.2 broke

so that is not a solution

MJ
Michael JonesPosted 1 year ago

i had to revert back to 8.2 to keep the rest of the site running

i have installed 5.03 of the wall which, if im correct   should work on both j4 and j5

Hello,

Do you mean that the audio widget works now?

I'm using php 8.2 without issues.

Where are the audio files located in the server (path relative to joomla root)?

M
MinitekPosted 1 year agoModerator

The correct path for audio files is

/media/audio/YOUR_FOLDER

MJ
Michael JonesPosted 1 year ago

im on j 4.4.8

cannot upgrade to 5 because other components are not available for j5

MJ

what about

in_array(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, null given

for images and audio

M
MinitekPosted 1 year agoModerator

That's ok. But have you tried putting the audio files in /media/audio/YOUR_FOLDER?

MJ
Michael JonesPosted 1 year ago

yes    i did it for the audio and added a link to the menu        it plays but no sound   probably a setting

MJ
Michael JonesPosted 1 year ago

sound is working
