    Profile

    The profile page displays user's own questions and answers. Pro

    Assigned questions are also shown for users that have permission to Edit State. For guest users, the profile page displays the question authorization form. This form allows users to access their anonymous questions by entering the question hash in the respective field.


    Profile configuration


    You can find the following parameters at Configuration > Profile.

    Profile link

    Show or hide the View Profile button in the top navigation bar.

      Info

    If you enable the View Profile button, you must also create a menu item of type FAQ Book Pro > Profile.

    Include sections
    Display questions and answers from these sections only. Leave empty to include all sections.
    Active type
    The active type in the profile page.

    Questions

    Questions link
    Show or hide the left menu link to user's questions.
    Assigned questions link
    Show or hide the left menu link to user's assigned questions. This link will be visible only to users that have permission to Edit State.
    Active ordering
    Active questions ordering on page load.
    Recent questions
    Enable recent questions ordering.
    Oldest questions
    Enable oldest questions ordering.
    Top questions
    Enable top questions ordering.
    Featured questions
    Enable featured questions ordering.
    Unanswered questions
    Enable unanswered questions ordering.
    Resolved questions
    Enable resolved questions ordering.
    Unresolved questions
    Enable unresolved questions ordering.
    Open questions
    Enable open questions ordering. If Only Moderators is selected, the ordering will be visible only to users that have permission to Edit State.
    Pending questions
    Enable pending questions ordering. If Only Moderators is selected, the ordering will be visible only to users that have permission to Edit State.
    Select questions type
    Displays a dropdown list that allows for the filtering of questions by type.
    Theme
    Select the questions theme. FAQ theme is suitable for frequently asked questions while Discussions theme is more suitable for forums.
    Show opened
    If enabled and FAQ theme is selected, questions will be displayed opened.
    Votes
    Show or hide questions votes.
    Enable downvotes
    If enabled, users will be able to downvote the questions. Applies only for FAQ theme.
    Question link
    Show or hide questions link (only for FAQ theme).
    Answers count
    Show or hide answers count.
    State labels
    Show or hide state labels (resolved, open, pending). if Only Moderators is selected, the labels will be visible only to users that have permission to Edit State.
    Image
    Show or hide questions image.
    Content
    Show or hide questions content (for FAQ theme, it shows or hides the content preview).
    Content limit
    Word limit for questions content (for FAQ theme, word limit for content preview).
    Views
    Show or hide questions views.
    Date
    Show or hide questions created date.
    Author
    Show or hide questions author.
    Author name
    Select type of author name.
    Avatar
    Show or hide author avatar. Only applies for 'Social' theme.
    Topic

    Show or hide questions parent topic.

    • Parent topic: Last-level parent topic.
    • All parent topics: All levels of parent topics up to first-level topic.

    Answers

    Answers link
    Show or hide the left menu link to user's answers.
    Active ordering
    Active answers ordering on page load.
    Votes
    Show or hide answers votes.
    Content
    Show or hide answers content.
    Content limit
    Word limit for answers content. Enter 0 to disable content truncation.
